With the addition of our ophthalmology services in 2020, our clinics became the referral center for general OMD services for five counties over two states. As such, we offer clinical variety and challenges that push providers to stay current and forward learning. There is no shortage of both the routine and the obtuse.
In 2023, we began a partnership with IOR to bring Office-Based Surgery (OBS) to our St. Johnsbury, Vermont location. Utilizing this surgical suite has allowed for greater productivity for our surgeon, shorter wait times for our patients, and excellent outcomes. The OBS is outfitted with Zeiss's Lumera 700 microscope and Quatera 700 phaco machine and our truly fantastic surgical team. We believe having a space dedicated to ophthalmological surgeries produces an efficiency and comfort that ASCs can't approach.
